Can the Cape be personalised?

We are happy to add a personal embroidery to your Cape- our partners at the embroidery in Kreuzberg take ca. 1-2 weeks for that. Click here  to find out more information about the monogram. If you have any more questions, feel free to write us an email to or call us on +49 3064449691.

Can the Cape be exchanged?

Of course you can exchange a cape! Whether you changed your mind about the colour or the fit, you have the right of withdrawal no matter what your personal reasons may be. As long as you let us know within 14 days and the cape is unworn, we will send you a new one or give you a refund, with the exception of individually embroidered capes. Get in touch with us under and we will send you an email with a DHL return slip. Please provide your IBAN in case you want us to get your a refund.

Can I change or cancel my order in retrospect?

It goes without saying that you can change or cancel your order, given that we haven’t shipped it yet or it has been personalised already. If you have not received your shipping/embroidery confirmation email yet, contact us right away via email- or call us on+49 3064449691 so we can help you with your requests as soon as possible.

I have provided the wrong address, what can I do?

We can usually change that without further problems, given that the cape has not been shipped yet. Please send us an email with your correct details and include your reference number at and we will try our best to swiftly process your requests.

Does the cape mädchen ship to collection points and post offices?

We certainly do! Please include your name, post number, and the number and address of the post station when you place your order.

I have spotted a cape in a magazine/Instagram/Facebook, but cannot find it on your website?

If you cannot find the cape that you have spotted somewhere outside our website, let us know anyway. It is possible that it is from an old collection (and sometimes we may have a couple left in our Berlin Showroom) or it may be a sample for a future collection. Please do not be shy and just contact us under If there is a way to get this cape to you, we will make sure that you can get it!

I am not sure if my order was processed properly. How can I make sure?

If the order has been placed successfully, our customers will receive a confirmation email. If you did not receive one, double-check in your spam folder as well. When in doubt, give us a call on +49 3064449691 and we will check if your order is within the system.

How long does it take until I receive my cape?

Our parcels are shipped with DHL, and within Germany it should take up to 1-2 days for arrival. In rare cases it could take longer of course. You will receive a tracking number with your shipping confirmation email, so you can follow your cape’s journey on Click here to find out more about shipping within the EU, Express Delivery & Co.

Help, it’s my friend’s birthday tomorrow, how fast can the cape arrive?

We do offer express delivery with DHL to ensure that the capes will be with your favourite people as soon as possible. Just let us know before 3pm, and then the cape can be at its destination the following day already. For express delivery the cost for shipping in Germany is €11,90 instead of the standard €3,95 per parcel.

Could I pick up my cape directly in Berlin?

You are more than welcome to come by our lovely Showroom in Schöneberg and pick up your cape. Or if you would prefer to shop “offline” and come for browse too! I am unsure which I cape I want to get as a gift, is there a gift voucher option?

There is indeed, either a digital voucher or the option of a beautifully hand-minted card that we send per post. You can freely choose the voucher value.
